Happy Monday!!
Today in math, we began our lesson with a warm up activity in which students needed to decipher fractional clues to in order to determine the correct number of shapes, sizes and shading.
We then began identifying and creating mixed numbers, which include both a whole number and a fractional amount. Throughout the week we will continue to look at the relationship between mixed numbers and improper fractions.
Our Student Council met at lunch today, and were excited to announce an upcoming bake sale fundraiser in benefit of the Australian wild fires. Treats will be available to purchase on February 11th & 12th for one dollar each.
