Families,

Today in English Language Arts, students continued their work in poetry.  Their learning objective was to incorporate different literary devices into their writing, and are currently focusing on the use of onomatopoeia to enhance reader imagery.  Stay tuned for some spooky Halloween sounds!

In math, students are working on identifying and applying pattern rules, as well as using T-tables for growing patterns and identifying rules in number patterns.

Reminders:
- On Thursday morning, students will have a multiplication test on the 2x & 4x tables.
- Thursday afternoon, students will be participating in Halloween activities and are encouraged to bring their costume to school and then change after the lunch hour.
