Today in math, we started looking at patterns and relations.  Students were required to determine the pattern rule between each term in order to make predictions about subsequent elements.
e.g. 3, 7, 11, ___, ___, ___

In science, we continued with our grade 6 Evidence and Investigation unit, as we explored handwriting analysis and chromatography.  Our learning objective was to understand different characteristics and forms that are used during handwriting analysis. We also applied chromatography to several written samples in an attempt to identify the perpetrator who gained access to our classroom, stole our clock, and was blackmailing us through a ransom note. Stay tuned to find out the culprit!
