Happy Wednesday!
Just a friendly reminder that
our collection for the Drop-In Centre has begun. Please feel free to begin
sending in items you may have for donation.
Today in math, our learning
objective was to determine the possible rectangle configurations when given a
total perimeter measurement. Students also utilized the formula for determining
the perimeter of a square and rectangle, as well as discussed the connection between
measurement formulas and the use of a variable in an algebraic equation.
In science, students had the
opportunity to work with magnets and test materials. Kids had a great time
experimenting as we began our new unit in Magnetism and Electricity.
