Request for supplies: if anyone has an old magazines at home they no longer need, can you please send them to school for Friday? Thanks!
Today in math, students continued to work on determining the algebraic equation for a problem, and then to solve for the unknown variable. In English language arts, we reviewed text genres in order to correctly identify and classify books.

In addition to music and physical education this afternoon, we also had
a presentation from members of our grade 5/6 Student Council. They presented
our new school initiative to support the Calgary Drop-In Centre. Families are invited to send in the following
small items for packaging and donation:
· razors for shaving
· shampoo
· tums
· cough drops
· travel sized band aids
· vitamins
· small Advil packets
· travel mugs
· water bottles
· toothpaste & toothbrushes
· $2 to $5 gift cards
We are collecting items until
December 11th, 2019. Please send donated items with your child. Our
school goal is to reach 1000 donation items!
